Léa Chevrier
Léa Chevrier is a driven Junior softball pitcher at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, where she is pursuing a degree in Sports Management with a Minor in Marketing. Originally from Canada, Léa’s passion for softball has been a constant throughout her life. She played for Team Quebec for 8 years, earning several key accomplishments, including second place at the U16 National Championships, third place at the Canada Games in 2022, and third place at the National Championships in 2024. During her time with Team Quebec, she was named Pitcher of the Year multiple times, showcasing her dominance on the mound and her leadership within the team.
Her success in Canada laid the foundation for her collegiate career. Léa played for Florida Southwestern in 2023, where she played a pivotal role in leading the team to a National Championship title in the Junior College Division 1. In 2023, she was named 1st Team All-Conference and Pitcher of the Year at the Regional Tournament in Florida. She continued her outstanding performance in 2024, earning 1st Team All-Conference and All-American honors. Her remarkable achievements also led to her participation in the Junior College National Tournament in 2024, further solidifying her reputation as one of the top pitchers in her division.
At Miami University, Léa continues to build on her impressive athletic career while pursuing her studies. As a pitcher for the Miami RedHawks, she is an integral part of the team, showcasing her leadership, skill, and ability to perform under pressure. Alongside her athletic pursuits, Léa is committed to excelling academically, focusing on Sports Management and Marketing to prepare for a future career in the sports industry.
Léa’s dedication to her craft is reflected in her rigorous training regimen, which combines pitching drills, strength conditioning, and mental preparation to enhance her performance.
